Reports from the media in Argentina and France claimed this week that Manchester City could loan Julian Alvarez to Marseille this summer.

The 22-year-old is yet to join up with Pep Guardiola’s side despite signing for the club for around £14m from River Plate back in January, having spent the last six months back on loan with the Argentinian outfit.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola recently hinted that he sees Alvarez as part of his plans for the upcoming Premier League season but it was believed that could change following the arrival of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.

However, the agent of Alvarez has rubbished reports claiming the striker will leave Manchester City on loan this summer.

When asked if the 22 year old striker will leave Manchester City this summer, Alvarez’s agent Fernando Hidalgo told TyC Sports via Sport Witness: “There’s no chance of him leaving.”
