Premier League rivals Arsenal are ready to Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus nearly double what he earns to tempt him into joining them, The Sun claims.

Jesus reportedly earns £110,000 a week at Manchester City and Arsenal are offering the 25 year old Brazilian forward a weekly salary of £190,000 a week.

Arsenal have reportedly already held talks with his agent Marcelo Pettinati and are also hoping Gabriel’s relationship with Mikel Arteta will convince him to join Arsenal.

Jesus is currently on international duty, but Manchester City bosses plan to speak to his representatives over the next few days.

Jesus has won nine major trophies since joining City from Palmeiras for £28million in 2017 but is considering his future at City following the arrival of Erling Haaland.

He has just 12 months left on his contract and Guardiola remains a huge fan – but equally will not stand in his way if the Brazilian insists he wants to leave.

Jesus is also on the radar for clubs in Spain and Italy.
