FA president claims this Serie A striker is better and more complete than Erling Haaland

Serbian FA president Nenad Bjekovic has claimed Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic is a better player than Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.

According Bjekovic, Dusan Vlahovic is a more complete striker than Erling Haaland.

“Vlahovic is better and more complete than Haaland,” Bjekovic told Tuttosport when asked to stack the two stars together.

“The Norwegian has devastating power, but Dusan is not inferior: there is also very little difference in their height.

“But the Juventus forward’s variety and styles of player is better. Manchester City and Juventus paid more or less the same fee, including commissions, to sign the two this year from Borussia Dortmund and Fiorentina.”

Meanwhile, Manchester City would only allow Nathan Ake leave for Chelsea if an offer of £50million is received and a replacement is found for the defender.

Chelsea are desperate to sign defenders this summer following the departures of Andreas Christensen to Barcelona and Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly a huge fan of Nathan Ake and would like to take the Dutch central defender back to Stamford Bridge.

Manchester City are demanding £50million for Ake as it will take the club more than that to replace the Dutch centre-back.

Ake is one of just four senior players in the centre-back position at the club — and so there is no current intention to sell him.

Given Ake joined Manchester City from Bournemouth for £41million and still has three years left on his contract, £50million is a fair price for the Dutch centre-back.
