Manchester City star Raheem Sterling has sold his house in Manchester ahead of his move to Chelsea, according to The Express.

Stering is due to complete the move to Chelsea this week and could be joined at Stamford Bridge by current City team-mate, Nathan Ake.

Sterling has just one year left on his contract and with the England international opting against extending his contract, Manchester City had to sell him this summer to avoid losing him for free next summer.

The England international opted not to sign a new contract after Pep Guardiola failed to assure him he would be guaranteed starter next season with Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez set to join the club.

Last campaign Sterling racked up 30 Premier League appearances – the lowest total he has managed since signing from Liverpool in 2015.

Sterling’s move to Chelsea is imminent and according to reports, it could happen this week after the England international sold his house in Manchester.

Sterling has not been based in the capital since 2010, when he joined Liverpool’s youth set-up after spending seven years with Queens Park Rangers.
