Kevin De Bruyne named Man of the Match as Manchester City beat Club America

Kevin De Bruyne was named Man of the Match as Manchester City beat Mexican side Club America 2-1 in Houston in a pre-season game.

De Bruyne was at his thrilling best, scoring a first-half brace consisting of two sublime right-footed strikes.

His strikes in the first-half were sandwiched between Henry Martin’s equaliser for Club América in the 43rd minute.

His first goal was trademark De Bruyne, surging through midfield and giving the goalkeeper no chance from distance.

De Bruyne’s second goal was the product of brilliant movement which was matched by a Riyad Mahrez’s slide-rule pass.
