Manchester City have reached an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion left-back Marc Cucurella, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via SportsBible.
While Manchester City have reached an agreement with Cucurella, we are yet to reach an agreement with Brighton for the transfer of the left-back.
Manchester City submitted an offer of £30million for Cucurella which was swiftly rejected by Brighton, with the Premier League side demanding £50million.
Romano also revealed that Cucurella is not happy with the ongoing situation and really wants a move to the Etihad Stadium this summer.
Romano explained on the latest episode of the ‘Here We Go’ podcast via SportsBible: “I am told that the player is not happy.
“The player really wants this move to Manchester City.
“He joined Brighton dreaming of a top English club one day and when Pep Guardiola called him, he only wanted this move to Manchester City.”
