The match officials for Manchester City’s clash at home against Crystal Palace on Saturday have been announced.

The referee for the game will be Graham Scott. The 54 year-old has officiated two matches so far this season, most recently Brighton’s goalless draw against Newcastle.

Scott took charge of 23 matches last season, showing 79 yellow cards and four red cards.

Manchester City’s 5-0 win over Norwich in August 2021 was the last game Scott officiated a game involving the club.

Scott will be assisted by Harry Lennard and Adrian Holmes.

The VAR official will be Simon Hooper, while Steve Meredith has been appointed as the Assistant Video Assistant Referee.

The Fourth official will be Darren Bond.

We failed to beat Patrick Vieira’s side last season, suffering a 2-0 defeat at the Etihad and drawing 0-0 at Selhurst Park.

We will also be looking to return back to wining ways against the Eagles after our draw against Newcastle United last weekend.
