Former Manchester City midfielder Michael Brown has described Manchester City’s 4-2 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday as magical football.

Manchester City came back from 2-0 at half-time to beat Crystal Palace 4-2. City also came from 3-1 down against Newcastle United to draw 3-3.

The former City midfielder said of our 4-2 win over Crystal Palace: “That was truly brilliant football. I was watching the Newcastle game last week thinking: ‘this is brilliant’ – throwback games, end to end.

“I know you want more control, you don’t want to be going behind or conceding goals but I don’t think it gets better than that.

“[Watching] Aston Villa last season, watching the comeback, it’s just magical football.

“That was a special half, it was brilliant.”
