Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been voted the Etihad Player of the Month for August.

Haaland saw off the challenge of team-mates Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne to claim the award.

Having joined the club from German side Borussia Dortmund, Haaland made an impressive start to his Manchester City career, scoring nine Premier League goals in just five appearances in the month of August.

He scored a brace against West Ham in the opening day of the season and was on target again in our thrilling 3-3 draw away at Newcastle United. The 22 year old striker then scored back-to-back hat-tricks against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.
