French club FC Lorient are in talks with Manchester City to sign Scotland Under-21 midfielder Josh Adam, according to The Athletic.
Adam, who has 18 months left on his City contract, is set to travel to France this weekend as negotiations continue.
Manchester City signed the 18 year old midfielder from Celtic in 2020. He has made 13 appearances Manchester City’s Elite Development Squad in the Premier League 2, recording one goal and two assists.
Whilst a deal for Adam is not completed yet, both sides are confident that a transfer will be completed for the 18-year-old to move to the French top division.
Lorient are having a strong season in Ligue 1 as they currently sit seventh in the table just five points off the European spots.
