Julián Álvarez is set to sign his renewal today, extending his contract with Manchester City till 2028, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The new deal will include a pay rise as the Argentine is said to be a part of City’s project. The renewal is reportedly also a means to fend off any interest from fellow European heavyweights.
Romano tweeted: “Julián Álvarez will sign new Manchester City deal in the next hours — it will be sealed and completed this week, as revealed on Sunday
“New contract valid until June 2028, pay rise and Julián will stay as part of Man City project.”
