German giants Bayern Munich have reportedly made a decision on the permanent transfer of Manchester City right-back Joao Cancelo.
Cancelo joined Bayern Munich on loan from Manchester City in January with the Germans having the option to sign the right-back permanently for €70million.
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich have no plans to trigger the option to buy clause in Cancelo’s loan deal from Manchester City.
Romano tweeted: “Bayern board will discuss with Tuchel in April/May about João Cancelo. It’s a key step to decide his future.
“Bayern will not trigger €70m buy option clause — never been a possibility. Only possible way would be to negotiate with City.”
