Inter striker Edin Dzeko has explained why he decided to join Manchester City from Wolfsburg during the summer of 2011.

Speaking to Bosnian broadcaster Arena Sport, via FCInterNews, he said: “After doing really well at Wolsfburg, I moved to Manchester City because I wanted to really see what level I was at, whether I could play with the best players in the world.

“Only in the Premier League would I be able to answer that question.

“At the time, the coach was Mancini, and I won five or six trophies there.”
