Manchester City are in interested in signing Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni this summer, according to a report on FC Inter News via Sport Witness.

Bastoni’s Inter Milan contract expires next year and the Italian side could be forced to sell the 23 year old defender this summer if no agreement is reached over a new contract.

Manchester City have been reportedly following the defender for two years and he has the ‘exact technical qualities’ that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola looks for in a defender.

Italian side Juventus are also interested in the defender and have reportedly contacted the 23 year old but Manchester City aren’t bothered about the interest from Juventus because Inter Milan won’t sell to their Serie A rival.
