Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has revealed he won’t watch Liverpool vs Arsenal clash because his attention has already turned to Bayern Munich in the Champions League after City beat Southampton 4-1.
Bayern Munich travel to Manchester this week ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg under new management after Thomas Tuchel replaced Julian Nagelsmann during the international break.
Asked at the end of his post-match Sky Sports interview whether he would be watching Liverpool against Arsenal at Anfield tomorrow or the final day of The Masters in Augusta, Guardiola gave another answer entirely. “Bayern Munich. Now, Bayern Munich,” he replied.
“Golf, for sure, but Bayern Munich (too).”
Guardiola continued: “I don’t know- new manager there. I didn’t see one game, and I have to see, more or less, or figure out what we are going to do. So, happy to be there again.
“We start (work) after dinner in the coach, then we’re going home in the plane. At home, we’re going to start to watch something, yeah.”
