Erling Haaland’s goal against Bayern Munich has seen him break yet another record.

Manchester City beat German side Bayern Munich 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium, with Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Haaland on the scoresheet.

Haaland’s goal against Bayern Munich means the Norwegian has now scored 45 goals in all competitions across 2022/23, the most in history by a player at a Premier League club.

In doing so, he’s overtaken the previous record held by both Ruud van Nistelrooy during the 2002/03 campaign and Mohamed Salah in 2017/18.

Both the former Manchester United striker and Liverpool’s Egyptian winger achieved the feat in 52 appearances. Haaland has managed to break new ground in just 39.

Congratulations to Erling on breaking his latest record.
