Manchester City have set a new Champions League record afte4 beating Bayern Munich 3-0 at the Etihad in the first-leg of the quarter-final tie.

Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland all scored for Manchester City to secure a comfortable victory over the German champions.

Following the victory over Bayern Munich, Manchester City are now unbeaten in our last 25 UEFA Champions League home matches – setting a new record run by an English side in the competition.

The 3-0 defeat suffered by Bayern Munich is their heaviest defeat in the Champions League since losing to Paris by this scoreline in September 2017, and their biggest in the knockout stage of the competition since a semi-final reverse against Barcelona in May 2015.
