Erling Haaland will be looking to break a Champions League record held by former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy when Manchester City travel to Bayern Munich for the second leg of our quarter-final on Wednesday.

Haaland has scored 47 goals in all competitions already this season and 11 of those goals have come in the Champions League.

Van Nistelrooy currently holds the record of scoring the most goals in a single Champions League campaign by a Premier League player after scoring 12 Champions League goals for the Red Devils in the 2002-03 season.

Haaland needs to score twice in the Champions League this season to break the record held by Van Nistelrooy.
