Manchester City are four points behind league leaders Arsenal but have played a game less than the league leaders.

Manchester City have a game in hand against Brighton. City were due to play Brighton this weekend. However, the fixture was forced to be postponed due to Manchester City still being in the FA Cup.

City will face Championship side Sheffield United this weekend for a place in the final at Wembley.

As of yet, the Premier League have not confirmed the date for City to play our game-in-hand against Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton. Confirmation of the rescheduled date will depend on City’s success in Europe.

Should City make it through to the last four of the Champions League, City will then be back in European action on Tuesday, May 9, with the second leg taking place a week later on Tuesday, May 16.

Following the semi-final clashes, the only available slot for City to play Brighton is on the week commencing May 22.

Guardiola’s men will face Chelsea on Saturday, May 20 and then have an eight-day gap before our final game of the season against Brentford.

The most doable date for City vs Brighton will most likely be Wednesday, May 24.
