Manchester Evening News  expects Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola to keep faith with the 11 players who began last Tuesday’s 3-0 triumph against Bayern Munich, although whether John Stones operates as an inverted full-back or in a more conventional right-back role remains to be seen.

The Independent also expects Guardiola to field the same XI that started the first leg at the City of Manchester Stadium. Mahrez, Laporte and Walker featured in Saturday’s 3-1 victory over Leicester in the Premier League, but Akanji, Gündoğan and Aké (pictured) are all set for recalls in Munich.
