Real Madrid will be without Eder Militao for the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Manchester City.

Militao picked up his third booking of the European campaign in Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

A first-half lunge for the ball saw Militao take out Kai Havertz, swiftly earning a yellow card from referee Daniele Orsato.

Antonio Rudiger will be the favourite to partner David Alaba in defence in the first leg, at the Bernabeu on May 9.
