Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira believes Manchester City sent a strong message to Arsenal by beating Arsenal 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.

Vieira told BT Sport: “I expected Arsenal to challenge City a bit more. This was a strong statement from City to say you’re still a long way from us. It was a strong performance and City showed they are going to go on and win it.”
