Real Madrid star Luka Modric is a doubt for the Champions League semi-final clash against Manchester City after suffering a thigh injury, according to Daily Mail.
Real Madrid confirmed the news on Friday and said the injury is being monitored.
Losing the 37-year-old will be a big blow for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, as he remains a key player at the Bernabeu.
He has played 44 games this season, scoring six goals, and boasts valuable experience in the latter stages of big tournaments after five Champions League wins with Real and two impressive World Cup campaigns with Croatia.
According to reports in the Athletic, the midfielder is expected be be out for around ‘two weeks’.
