Manchester City will finish above Manchester United in the Premier League for the 10th consecutive season.

Even if Manchester City lose all our remaining games in the Premier League and Manchester United win all their remaining games, Manchester United won’t still be able to finish above Manchester City.

Manchester United are on 63 points following their 1-0 defeat to Brighton on Thursday night and the maximum points tally they can achieve this season is 78 points which is lower than Manchester City’s current 79 points.

The last time Manchester United finished above Manchester City was the 2012/13 season when Manchester United won the Premier League and Manchester City finished second.
