Manchester City star Aymeric Laporte has warned Real Madrid that Manchester City are looking to revenge last season’s semi-final defeat.

“This team is a winning team and we have the mentality to win every single game,” Laporte said.

“Maybe the one thing that has changed from the other years is we have a machine up front who is scoring goals in every game which is making our job easier. I think this is maybe the difference. We are trying to take this in a good win to try and win all of these titles.

“The most important thing for us are the titles this season and if we can do it, it will be something great at the end. We are a strong group and I think we are all friends and happy for each other. We can achieve three titles, but it will be tough because in the FA Cup we have Manchester United, in the Premier League we have many good teams and teams that are fighting to survive and stay in the division.

“We just have to be focused on ourselves. In the Champions League we face another big team in Real Madrid and we will try to get our revenge from last year.”
