Manchester City are set to compete with Barcelona for the transfer of 28 year old Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich, according to Mundo Deportivo via GOAL.

The report adds: “The 28-year-old midfielder, whose market value is €80 million, has seen his Bavaria future come under question in recent weeks, with rumours swirling around that he could be on the move in the summer.

“If true, he will have no shortage of suitors. City, for one, hold a long-standing interest in the enforcer, and are keen to reunite him with boss Pep Guardiola, who views him as the ideal replacement for soon-to-be free agent Ilkay Gundogan.”
