Manchester City could win the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup this season.
If Manchester City win the treble, Manchester City would become the second English side – in the men’s game – to complete the treble, after Manchester United’s success in 1998-1999.
When asked if he would leave Manchester City if he guides the club to a treble, Pep Guardiola told Sky Sports: “First, we have to win it. [Then] you can ask me after and I will tell you how I feel and how I think.”
The City boss was then asked whether the matter had crossed his mind in any regard. He responded: “Of course, we are three games away and we need each competition to do it. [But] You are going to tell me that our city rivals, Man United, will be an easy game?”
City face rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final on June 3rd and Serie A side Inter Milan in the Champions League final on June 10th.
“What will happen against an Italian team, who don’t feel favourites?” he continued. “I’m thinking about that. And after, of course, if we achieve then I will tell you.”
