According to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich have enquired about signing Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez.

The German side believe they can sign Alvarez this summer despite having a contract until 2028 because he is not regular starter at Manchester City.

Alvarez, who played a key role as Argentina won the 2022 World Cup, has made 29 appearances for Manchester City in the Premier League but only 12 have been starts.
