Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has explained why he wants Inter Milan to beat Manchester City in the Champions League final.

Manchester City knocked Real Madrid out of this year’s Champions League in the semi-finals in style, but Courtois’ support for Inter is not motivated by revenge, but rather his friendship with Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.

Courtois told Prime Video: “I hope Romelu can win it. Obviously it’s him against Kevin, but I’ve known Romelu for a bit longer.”
