Manchester City centre-back Callum Doyle is close to joining Leicester City on a season-long loan deal, according to Daily Mail.
The highly-rated 19 year old centre-back flourished on loan at Sunderland in League One before impressing with Coventry City last season.
Manchester City have high hopes for the England Under-20 international and it is understood that the Premier League champions have opted against including an option to buy in negotiations with Leicester.
Leicester City new boss, Enzo Maresca, was Pep Guardiola’s assistant manager and worked within the City academy system before that. Maresca is fully aware of Doyle’s ability, with the left-footed centre half renowned for his passing ability.
