According to the Athletic, Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli are ready to make a £30million ($39.3m) bid for Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez.

The Saudi Pro League side have already made a proposal to Mahrez, 32, worth in the region of £25m per year (£481,000 per week).

The Algerian international is yet to decide whether to continue at Manchester City or leave for Al Ahli this summer. Mahrez currently has two years left on his Manchester City contract.

Although £30m would represent excellent value for City, considering Mahrez’s age and contract status, Manchester City are reportedly not keen on selling Mahrez.

Al Ahli are extremely keen to recruit Mahrez and consider him their star arrival of the summer.
