Manchester City star Julian Alvarez has been a key target for Spanish side Real Madrid, with the Los Blancos said to be already ‘waiting for him’.

The Argentine has always had huge impact on Pep Guardiola’s team, despite starting as second striker behind Erling Haaland. This has attracted huge interest from Real Madrid as they are keen on signing the Argentine, according to Sport.

According to reports, Real Madrid were keen on signing the player last year but couldn’t reach a deal with City.

Amid all, Kylian Mbappe remains Real Madrid’s priority target. If they fail to make a deal with the Frenchman, they can turn their eyes to Alvarez. Though, the City man is considered to be a ‘Plan B’.

Manchester City are as well being linked with Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson, as he is a target for other clubs.

As per reports, if City is able to make the deal, the market value of €60m on Alvarez can lead to Real Madrid knocking on the door.
