According to Football Insider, Manchester City are confident that Julian Alvarez will remain at the club despite interest from some of Europe’s biggest sides.

The Argentina international has attracted huge interest from Spanish sides Real Madrid and Barcelona, following his impressive form since the World Cup.

The 23-year-old joined Man City from Argentina club River Plate last year, and has since made 63 appearances for the club across all competitions, scoring 24 goals and providing ten assists.

Alvarez has continued his outstanding form, as he netted alongside Erling Haaland to give Man City a 2-1 win over Brighton.
