Manchester City star Kalvin Phillips favours a switch to Newcastle over other potential suitors this January, according to a report on Manchester Evening News.
The England international has made 8 appearances for Manchester City this season but only one has been a start.
Phillips is tipped to leave in Manchester City in January after being subjected to limited game time since his 2022 move to Etihad Stadium from Leeds United.
Newcastle United reportedly want to sign Phillips on loan in January and the midfielder prefers a move to Eddie Howe’s side.
West Ham are reportedly also interested in signing Phillips as a replacement for Tomas Soucek. The ball-winning midfielder sees his Hammers deal expire in the summer with a renewal not yet agreed.
