Manchester City chief executive Ferran Soriano has sent a note of warning to Real Madrid and Barcelona over Erling Haaland and Bernardo Silva.
Real Madrid have been heavily linked with Haaland, and are bent on signing the Norwegian, however Soriano insists that the striker is not for sale.
He also commented on Pep Guardiola stating that the Spanish coach will still be at the club as long as he wants.
On RAC-1, Soriano said: “I think Haaland be happy in Manchester City. The future will be seen. He is a player who has extraordinary numbers not only because he scores goals but because he has adapted well to the club, to the city. “I think he will stay here for many years.”
On Pep Guardiola, he said: “He is a star, he will stay here as long as he wants and I hope he is for many years.”
On Bernardo Silva and Barcelona’s continued pursuit, he concluded: “We don’t make noise, nothing has leaked from here. There have been many covers on his landing at Barça but there is nothing to say.
“if anyone wants to leave, the door is open. Nobody put obstacles, it’s ridiculous.”
