Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has said that Erling Haaland’s injury is not a fatal one, and the striker will be able to return against Liverpool on Saturday.
Haaland has withdrawn from the national team’s squad after sustaining an ankle injury during Norway’s 2-0 friendly victory over Faroe Islands on Thursday.
“Understand Erling Haaland’s injury is not serious and he will be fit for City vs Liverpool,” the journalist tweeted.
“Haaland will not risk to play vs Scotland after his problem but he’ll be regularly back for Man City.”
Liverpool and Man City face off at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, November 25.
