Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said PSG midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery has the attributes of three ex-Premier League players.

The midfielder was a key target for Manchester City during the 2023 summer window but opted to remain in France.

Talking about the midfielder, Wenger told Le Parisien: “He has something of the power of Paul Pogba, but he also has points in common with N’Golo  Kanté in this ability to recover balls. Zaire-Emery is a bit of a mix between the two, a combination of the two 2018 world champions.

“With his ability to win duels without making mistakes and to project himself forward, making people appreciate his great vision of the game.

“He has a bit of Patrick Vieira too. A box to box midfielder as the English say.”
