Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says that Erling Haaland trained with some niggles ahead of Liverpool’s visit to the Etihad.
Haaland received a knock on international duty during Norway’s friendly victory over Faroe Islands last week.
However, due to the injury, he didn’t feature in the 3-3 draw against Scotland.
Ahead of the top Premier League clash between Man City and Liverpool, Guardiola has confirmed that Haaland took part in a training yesterday and will get much better before the game on Saturday. He however refused to confirm Haaland’s availability for the game.
“He trained yesterday with some niggles,” Guardiola said.
“Today we are in the last training, hopefully he can play a part.”
“We have a few problems like many clubs,” the City boss further stated.
“We will see in our training session today. We will see.
“At 18:00 (UK) I will know for sure who is available.”
