Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku recorded the most dribbles by a player in a Premier League match since 2021, in Saturday’s draw against Liverpool.
Our Man of the Match completed 11 dribbles in total during the match, inflicting continuous havoc to Liverpool’s right-back Alexander-Arnold – thus making it the most in a single Premier League game since Adama Traore’s 11 for Wolves early in the 2021/22 campaign.
Doku’s record is also the most a player has completed in a Premier League game against Liverpool since 2006/07 season.
So far in the Premier League campaign, the Belgian winger has averaged six dribbles per 90 minutes on the pitch for City almost double of Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze with 3.6.
The Belgium international had 19 touches in the opposition box which was the most by any player on both teams in the game with Erling Haaland having 8 touches.
However, despite the outstanding performance from the Belgian, Doku was unable to claim a goal or an assist to help claim all three points for City. Dangerous player nevertheless!
