Pep Guardiola has singled out Kyle Walker and Ruben Dias for their great understanding of responsibility in City’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool on Saturday.
Due to the busy schedules and international break, the City boss had limited time to train and speak with his players ahead of Liverpool’s visit to the Etihad.
Despite the short sessions the Spanish coach had with his players, Guardiola has heaped praises on Walker and Dias for an excellent job, as City enjoyed 60 percent possession with various attempts on goal.
Speaking after the game, Guardiola said: “We spoke with Ruben and Kyle in Chelsea, they just have to understand what they have to do.
“If they lose the ball, they lose the ball, but what’s important is the way you have to move and in the spaces they move.
“It depends on what they do and against Liverpool] they were so good. I know what I’m talking about, I can show you the videos!”
