Manchester City winger Jack Grealish has said Erling Haaland would have had a perfect game against Luton town if he had featured in the game.
The Norwegian was ruled out of the encounter with a ‘bone stress reaction’, as confirmed by the manager prior to the encounter at Kenilworth Road.
Grealish believes the game would have been ideal for the Norwegian, with the manner of the hosts’ defending.
After the game, Grealish said: “This is one game where we would have been desperate for him.
“When the other team goes man for man Erling is brilliant. I don’t think there’s any team in the world who can handle him one against one.”
Complimenting Julian Alvarez who set him up for the winning goal, Grealish added: “He’s so strong and he has pace. Julian [Alavrez] did brilliant and got a really good assist for myself. It’s a good day.”
