Manchester City will leave for Saudi Arabia after Saturday’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace, to partake in the FIFA Club World Cup.

This will be the first time Man City will participate in the competition, after winning the Champions League last season.

City will start this year’s edition of the competition at the semi-final stage due to the club’s status as the European Champions. 

However, Man City will cash out the sum of $5m(£4m) if we secure the first place in the competition, as there are juicy prices ranging from the 1st to 7th position.

Below is the amount allocated to each positions

1st place – $5m (£4m)

2nd place – $4m (£3.2m)

3rd place – $2.5m (£2m)

4th place – $2m (£1.6m)

5th place – $1.5m (£1.2m)

6th place – $1m (£795,000)

7th place – $0.5m (£398,000)
