Manchester City youngster Rico Lewis has said the dressing room felt nothing but disappointment after Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium.
Pep Guardiola’s men had a two-goal advantage, credit to Jack Grealish and Rico Lewis. However, Jean-Philippe Mateta’s strike and Michael Olise’s penalty forced City to settle for a point.
Speaking after the game, Lewis said: “We are very disappointed with the result, it’s unfortunate with the performance we put in.
“We were so good in terms of our control in the game and scoring two goals to go in front but at the end of the day we haven’t come away with the result we had hoped for.
“The people in that dressing room want to win every single game so of course with that comes the negatives of not winning.”
