Manchester City playmaker Bernardo Silva has claimed that the club is very much okay with the team’s performances in recent Premier League games, even though the results are not encouraging.

Pep Guardiola’s side have won just one out of their six last Premier League games and are now in Saudi Arabia for the FIFA Club World Cup.

During Monday media’s briefing in Jeddah, Bernardo Silva said: “I wouldn’t say it is a bad, bad moment.

“It’s a moment where in some games we felt frustrated because we conceded last minute goals that cost us points.

“But the way we have played in my opinion has been very, very good.

“If you look at how many times they shoot on our goal and we shoot on their goal, the way we play is the same – but we have to be more efficient and better in both boxes.

“Apart from the Aston Villa game where they were much better than us, I don’t think we were worse and it is just my opinion but I think we deserve to win those games.

“We need to be focused on little details and make it count because it is not enough what we have been doing.”
