Manchester City attacker Phil Foden heaped praises on Bernardo Silva after his goal against Everton sealed City’s victory on Wednesday night at Goodison Park.

Foden also expressed his anticipation for some City stars who are out injured, as they’d be back to help the team in the second half of the season.

“He’s (Bernardo Silva) a tremendous footballer; one of the best I’ve seen,” the Englishman declared.

“He’s not the biggest or strongest, but the way he uses his brain in the game, he’s someone I always try to learn off. He’s so important for Us.

“We’ve got massive players to come back in. Erling [Haaland], Jeremy [Doku], Kevin [De Bruynel. When they come back hopefully it’ll make the team stronger.

“We need them at the moment because we’re a bit short at the moment. I’m looking forward to when they come back.”
