Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has revealed the craziest thing that Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has asked him to do at the club.
According to Silva, the craziest thing Guardiola has asked him to do at Manchester City was play as a left-back in a crucial match against Arsenal last season.
City won that game 3-1 and went on to win the Premier League title, but Silva believes his manager’s selection was a huge risk.
Silva told Portuguese media outlet A Bola: “The craziest thing he asked me to do was probably play on the wing at the Emirates against Saka. It wasn’t easy and it was a game of a lot of pressure because we were behind them and if we lost or drew this game we would be out of the fight for the Premier League.
“Having to play that game against one of the best wingers in the league was the moment I will remember forever in my career. And I loved it, I loved it. In the end it was tough, but it was a great challenge, which I loved.”
