Italian side Juventus are in talks with Manchester City over a January loan move for Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips, according to a report on Metro.
Phillips is keen on leaving Manchester City in January after struggling for game time since his move from Leeds United in the summer of 2022.
The 28-year-old has made just four Premier League appearances this season, all of which have come from the substitutes’ bench, while he started just one of City’s six Champions League group stage games.
Phillips has never managed to convince Pep Guardiola that he deserves a place in the starting XI on a regular basis, making just two top flight starts in his first season with the club.
Phillips could now get a chance to play regularly with Juventus now in talks with Manchester City to sign the England international on loan for the rest of the season.
Newcastle are also thought to be interested in signing the former Leeds man on loan in the forthcoming transfer window, but an official move is yet to materialise, while Bayern Munich have also been linked.
