Manchester City will have to do without top striker Erling Haaland for a bit longer than expected.
The 23-year-old has been out since the loss to Aston Villa on 6 December, and it was expected that he’d return to the squad at the end of 2023.
City boss Pep Guardiola has now confirmed that Haaland is likely to be out until the end of January.
“It’s the bone. It needs time,” Guardiola said.
“With every injury you can do whatever you want but it’s a question of time.”
