Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has spoken highly of the long-term future of starlet Oscar Bobb.
The Norway international scored his first Premier League goal over the weekend, scoring the winning goal as Manchester City came from behind to beat Newcastle, and thus move above Aston Villa into second position.
Guardiola believes Bobb will be a top player at the Etihad, if he chooses to stay and be humble with his development, unlike Cole Palmer who chose to leave.
“We have another player for many years for us, if he decides to stay because maybe he decides… Now he’s happy for that minutes,” Guardiola explained.
“Cole Palmer was happy with that minutes, but after one to three years it’s, ‘I want more!’ And it’s natural, it’s completely understandable, and maybe I don’t give them that minutes, and they decide to go there!
