According to reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Premier League side West Ham are in talks with Manchester City to sign England international midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
Phillips has been on the wishlist of David Moyes, even prior to his £42million transfer from Leeds United in 2022, and the West Ham boss has been dogged in his pursuit.
West Ham aren’t only club interested in signing Phillips with Juventus, Newcastle United, Fulham and Crystal Palace also interested in signing the midfielder this January.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admitted in December that Phillips can leave in order to play regular football, having made only four Premier League appearances this season. The 28-year-old has not managed a single start in the Premier League all season.
Since joining Manchester City from Leeds United in the summer of 2022, Phillips has started just six games in all competitions for Manchester City.
